A National Home Valuation Study indicated that an enhanced entryway could add as much as 6.6% to a home’s perceived value of wooden doors. The study show how important the front exterior door is to a potential homebuyer’s first impression. A survey in Remodeling magazine found that most improvements yield less than 90 cents on the dollar in terms of the home’s market value, and cost much more than a new front entrance door unit.
